I held office hours for the five and a half years that I was a teacher at The Art Institute of California, San Diego, and have been tutoring students privately since 2009. I enjoy helping students overcome their barriers to learning new materials. Aside from my specialty in Media Arts, I still know general education materials very well. I am the oldest of five children in my family, so I learned early how to help people younger than me to learn things. I am still bilingual, English Spanish, after studying abroad when I was first a college student.
