I have been actively teaching and tutoring friends and students for the past four years. As an undergrad, I tutored students in physics and chemistry for majors and non-majors in addition to proofreading essays (everyone got over a 95% with my proofreading!). I also tutored in electronics, circuits, and semiconductor physics as a senior to younger engineering students as well. I also was the laboratory teaching assistant my senior year for the beginner circuits lab, so I have a lot of experience explaining concepts and execution from the ground up. I also started the Sooner Solar Racing Team at University of Oklahoma and did a LOT of teaching in my capacity as captain and graduate student mentor. I explained a lot of concepts and tools to students who had never used anything like that before. From machine shop safety and use to Solid Works modeling and simulation, I was able to effectively teach these concepts to allow my students to become independent within a few weeks. Hobbies
Aside from teaching, I am a dog-lover, musician, and entrepreneur! I have two dogs - a 6 y.o. lab and a 4 y.o. corgi. I play the guitar, bass, piano, drums, and am working my singing as well - it truly is my artistic outlet and stress relief! Lastly, I'm the founding member and CEO of a power conversion company! I make a serious effort to learn everything that I can, and I try to inspire my pupils to see the beauty and wonder all around us! I love the outdoors, am extremely extroverted, and love to teach!
