I got into tutoring because I feel as if far too many tutors teach exactly what the student leans in class without altering the method of teaching at all. This often leaving the student totally lost. I began tutoring because I feel that this practice is wrong, and that tutoring should focus on helping students understand the concept as a whole, rather than a series of test questions.
