Experience
I am an archaeologist/tutor with a passion for teaching history and literature. I am available to help students with reading, writing, literature, history, English, geography, global politics, religious studies, social studies, and a variety of other subjects. I have a degree in Anthropology from UCLA and I received my master's and Ph.D. in Anthropology from UCSD. I have traveled the world for my studies and worked with many students as a mentor and teacher. I have taught as a professor at both Stanford University and UCSD. I try to approach teaching holistically. I believe that educating students in many disciplines is important because it helps shape them as better learners and people. As a tutor I value knowledge highly and I want my students to vigorously push themselves to know and understand more about the world. I bring a concrete and unique way of teaching to my role as a tutor. In my spare time I like to run and hike. I enjoy playing and watching sports, as well as writing and learning about history. I'm also a dog lover.
