Education

UCLA - BS, Aerospace Engineering

Experience

I hold a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles, and began tutoring through a community outreach program organized by my fraternity. Through this program, some of my fraternity brothers and I tutored children from economically-challenged environments after school in East L.A. Afterward, while still in college, I undertook a wide range of additional tutoring jobs, with students ranging from preschool to college. With my background in Engineering, I prefer to tutor Physics and Math. I also like working with students preparing for the SAT, because I enjoy the critical thinking required by standardized testing and the challenging SAT vocabulary. A solid basis in logic, physical sciences and scientific reasoning, combined with excellent communication skills, ensure that students have the tools they need to succeed both academically and beyond their schooling. Outside of work, I'm a basketball fan and follow both professional and college sports. I also enjoy reading, hiking, and playing the piano.
