| Experience: | I am a fourth year economics major at UCSB. I grew up in San Diego, CA. I have always tutored my friends in math and economics. I have taken multiple years of college calculus. I can confidently teach calculus as well as all lower levels of math. I recently studied in France and financed some of my time abroad by teaching private English lessons through a small company, so I have some formal tutoring experience. I thoroughly enjoy teaching students who are actively engaged in the material or show a desire to learn. In high school I passed the AP Calculus, United States History, and Spanish exams. I received a 1300 SAT score (700 Math, 600 Verbal). I am well read and can articulately explain historical and political topics as well as current events. I fluently speak and can teach both French and Spanish. |
| Hobbies: | I am a laid back 21 year old California kid. I enjoy an active lifestyle. I have played competitive soccer most of my life but now mostly just play intramurals (can coach soccer too!). I am also a devout surfer. |
