I have tutored friends and family my whole life. I have a knack for explaining concepts to peers in simpler, more comprehensive terms. Students do not necessarily do poorly because they are poor students, but rather because they're not being taught the subject material in a way that compliments their learning style. I will strive to find the learning style most appropriate for your child as I did all through high school and college. High School Test Scores SAT: 770 Math, 640 Critical Reading ACT: 34 Math, 31 Reading, 34 Science AP: 5 Chemistry, 4 Spanish, 5 U.S. Politics and Government, 5 English Language, Literature, and Composition I have completed college level courses in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Calculus, and Statistics. I am also fluent in Spanish and conversational Brazilian Portuguese. My strengths are organization, motivating others, and explaining concepts, especially in mathematics and science. I have unique studying strategies that helped get me academically where I am today. Organizing others is probably my biggest strength; I find that organization is usually half of your success in a class. I am currently a part-time student at Santa Barbara City College where I am completing some last prerequisites to apply to Physical Therapy school. I want to heal bodies, young and old, in order to help us all live more happily.

I am the oldest of 7 kids and love all the craziness of a large family. I love the outdoors and you can often find me snowboarding, backpacking, surfing, or hiking. I'm also a dancer trained in modern, jazz, hip hop, and ballet. Additionally, I am a yoga teacher and love to help people work through their injuries to reclaim their bodies. I am a caring, high energy person who loves traveling and being outdoors-- especially if I'm snowboarding!
